DIA - Detroit Institute of Arts Gift Shop

For the Detroit Institute of Arts Gift Shop, I was asked to create iconic apparel and merchandise pieces that could sell off the shelves, along with select items for Detroit’s 313 brand. The goal was to design products that felt elevated, art-inspired, and culturally connected while still being wearable and commercially strong. I focused on bold but tasteful graphics, clean typography, and premium product placement that would appeal to museum visitors, Detroit locals, and tourists. Each piece was designed to feel collectible, giftable, and ready for a high-end museum retail environment. The final direction blended art, Detroit culture, and retail strategy into merchandise made to move.
